New Patients

Welcome. Here's everything you need to know before your first visit.

Your first visit

Your first appointment is about getting to know each other. Plan on around 45 to 60 minutes so we can:

  1. Review your medical & dental history together
  2. Take any necessary X-rays (digital, low-dose)
  3. Perform a thorough exam, including an oral cancer screening
  4. Discuss any concerns you have — cosmetic, functional, or financial
  5. Build a treatment plan that fits your priorities and budget

We don’t believe in surprise treatments. If something needs doing, we’ll explain why, what’s involved, and what it costs before we start.

What to bring

  • A piece of photo ID
  • Your insurance card (if applicable)
  • A list of medications you currently take
  • Any recent X-rays from a previous dentist (we can request them on your behalf if needed)

Insurance & payment

We accept direct billing for most major insurance providers in Ontario, including Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, Green Shield, Desjardins, Equitable Life, and many others. In most cases you only pay the portion not covered by your plan.

We accept:

  • Cash & debit
  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Financing for larger treatment plans (ask us at your consult)

If you don’t have insurance, we’re happy to provide a clear written estimate before any treatment begins.

Getting here

Address: 20 Polonia Ave #102, Brampton, ON L6Y 0K9

  • Free parking directly in front of the building
  • Wheelchair accessible — ground-floor entrance, accessible washroom
  • Just off Steeles Ave W, near the Mississauga / Brampton border

Bringing the family

Children are welcome — and we recommend their first visit by their first birthday or when their first tooth appears. Our team is patient, gentle, and happy to do “tell-show-do” first appointments to help kids build a positive association with the dentist.

We’re also happy to schedule family appointments together so siblings or partners can be seen back-to-back.

If you’re nervous

Dental anxiety is far more common than people admit. If a previous experience has made you avoid the dentist, please tell us — we won’t judge, and we’ll go at your pace. Options we use to help anxious patients include:

  • Extra time in the chair
  • Topical anaesthetic before any injection
  • Headphones, blankets, and breaks whenever you need them
  • Detailed explanations before each step (or none at all, if you’d rather not know)
